| STOCKHOLM |
The
beautiful capital of Sweden is built on 14 islands and has one of the
biggest and best conserved medieval city centres, ‘Gamla Stan’. You are
here met by a mix of old and new, contemporary and tradition. Best
of all is that everything is within walking distance. There are things to
be discovered for everybody in Stockholm, as for instance ‘Vasamuseet’
with the royal flagship ‘Vasa’ from 1628, the biggest royal palace in
northern Europe, Stockholms Kungliga Slott, and narrow alleys with great
shopping, restaurants and coffee shops in ‘Gamla Stan’.
You will find a large variety of restaurants for every purse and if you are interested in food the market places of Stockholm, ‘Östermalmshallen’, ‘Hötorgshallen’ and ‘Söderhallen’, are a definite must. The hotels are many and varied and generally of good quality. If you want to know more please visit http://www.stockholmtown.com/
